Flyer/Poster
A simple, letter-sized flyer can be downloaded below in your choice of Word or PDF formats. Note that there is a space left on the flyer for the addition of such local information as a contact person or an upcoming event.
The flyer was designed in black-and-white to be inexpensively reproduced on a home printer or photocopier.
Some suggested uses are: mailbox drops; grocery store bulletin boards; counter-tops or windows in local businesses; and, car windows (so as not to block your vision).

Model Letters to the Editor
Letters to the Editor published in daily, weekly or community newspapers are a quick, cheap and effective way of reaching the general community. Such letters are widely read. And, the smaller the community, the more likelihood they will be published.
If you are unsure of which newspapers are in or near your community, click HERE.
Six model letters are available for downloading below in your choice or Microsoft Word or PDF formats. Each one is based around a particular issue surrounding the elimination of federal prison farms. When submitting a letter (whether by e-mail or post), you must clearly indicate your name, address and telephone number as many newspapers contact writers to verify their identity.
Of course, you are welcome to use these models as the basis for your own personalized letter to the editor. However, stick to the facts and limit yourself to approximately 200 words.
